TORNADO is an agricultural-grade Magnesium Silicate for direct soil application, which can be used as a slow-release Magnesium source and also serves as an inorganic soil conditioner.
The importance of Magnesium (Mg) in the life of plants lies in its presence at the center of the chlorophyll molecule (without Mg, photosynthesis couldn't occur). Additionally, Mg functions as an activator for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, and it also participates in phosphate transport. Mg is a mobile element within the plant and is absorbed from the soil as the Mg+2 cation.
Magnesium Silicate is a material with predominantly basic characteristics that improves the chemical conditions of the soil, particularly the pH, by correcting its active acidity. Additionally, it provides stability and maintains the soil pH over time, bringing benefits in the short, medium, and long term.
TORNADO immobilizes exchangeable aluminum (residual acidity correction) in a very short period. High levels of exchangeable aluminum can become one of the limiting factors for plant productivity, especially as they hinder phosphorus mobility, thus delaying root development. Poor root system development restricts nutrient assimilation and makes the plantation more sensitive to periods of insufficient moisture.

RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended for crops with a high requirement for Magnesium and for soils deficient in this element.
It can be used in soils with any acidic pH.
It is recommended for promoting deeper root systems as it immobilizes Aluminum at greater depths.
It is used to improve the Calcium/Magnesium ratio in soils.
It is advised to use it in conjunction with Phosphorus sources as it enhances its assimilation by the plant due to the synergy between the elements

An excessive dosage of Magnesium Silicate can be detrimental to the soil if not supported by soil analysis. Do not apply on soils with a pH higher than 7.
The removal of Magnesium in crops is approximately 30 kilograms per hectare on average.
If one wishes to replace all the extracted Magnesium, it would be necessary to use the quantities shown in the table below, depending on the source of Magnesium used.
